Hornbeam

Hornbeam is a contemporary extension for a private client in Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh.

The detached property sits on a corner plot and backs onto a mature woodland. The client's wish was to create a ground floor kitchen/dining/living space that achieved a strong relationship to the garden. The splayed floor plan ensures the client enjoys different views and connectivity to the garden and woodland beyond from each part of the extension. Our client wanted to inject their own stamp on to the property and create an extension that contrasted with the existing property. The result is a highly original and dynamic modern addition to their home.
